Junior Scrum Masters work closely with more experienced Scrum Masters, product owners, and development teams to remove obstacles and support team productivity. Their role is vital for fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within Agile teams.

What does a Junior Scrum Master do?

Junior scrum masters are part of a company's scrum teams. The designation of "junior" may refer to the fact that there are more senior scrum masters on the team. But your responsibilities are very similar to other scrum masters. Your primary job duties may include coaching scrum teams in all areas (including sprint reviews and planning), milestone tracking, holding daily stand-up meetings, and collaborating with engineering, product management, and quality control departments to ensure the project is completed according to specifications. As a junior scrum master, you may also remove roadblocks and use team guiding to steer your staff towards goals.
