Responsibilities:Â
- Utilize standard electrical testing equipmentÂ
- Troubleshoot electrical issuesÂ
- Collaborate with and assist other trades departments as neededÂ
- Apply knowledge of policies and procedure followed within the Electrical Division and companyÂ
- Run any size project from start to finishÂ
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and estimatorsÂ
- Strong understanding of turn-key industrial processÂ
- Ability to lead multiple crews on larger projectsÂ
- Train apprentices and journeyman electriciansÂ
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codesÂ
- Adhere to company safety standards and proceduresÂ
Requirements:Â
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is requiredÂ
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an industrial electrical roleÂ
- Able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to determine the scope of work locations, quantities, and sizes of materials requiredÂ
- Understands various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, plumbing systems, etc.Â
- Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical code and apply it daily while on the jobÂ
- Ability to Install Specialty Systems, Hazardous, Medium Voltage, Building ControlÂ
- Disconnect and Reconnect Manufactured Equipment, Presses, Weld CellsÂ
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelinesÂ

Rigging Requirements:Â

- Use & recognize rigging hardware including hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, softeners and tag lines Â
- Identifies common load configurations & positioningÂ
- Calculate load weightsÂ
- Rigger 2 training – trains on aboveÂ
Physical Requirements:Â
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height. Â
- Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment. Â
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally Â
- Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards Â
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Â
- Must be able to work in cold/hot environments. Â
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.Â
