Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Sample and test aggregate, asphalt and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any day and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Quality Control experience/certifications required
  • Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability
  • Computer spreadsheet experience preferred
  • Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary
  • Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided
  • Must be able to lift material samples of 75lbs. approximate. 10-15 times per day on occasion more depending on duties required
  • Ability to work overtime; nights, weekends
  • Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/ functional exam and drug screen
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
