Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: The Children's Institute Squirrel Hill Campus, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Schedule:Monday – Friday, Full Time, Onsite

The Senior Project Manager leads complex, transformational initiatives in dynamic and uncertain environments. This role requires strong coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment among stakeholders while balancing competing priorities. The Project Manager will drive strategic outcomes by delivering measurable project benefits and influencing senior leaders and executives. In addition, the role focuses on optimizing cross-project processes and mentoring junior project managers in best practices and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead organization wide projects with significant complexity
  • Manage interdependencies across multiple knowledge areas
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ensure realization of project benefits and alignment to strategic objectives
  • Influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • Standardize and optimize processes across projectsMentor junior PMs in standards and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5–8+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Advanced application of project management principles
  • PMP certification required; Other highly relevant certifications or extensive PM experience may be considered in lieu of PMP
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and organizational complexity
  • Strong coaching and leadership capabilities
  • Clearances Required: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
