JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Jr. Product Engineer to support the Director of the Product Business Department, who leads the full product portfolio across Tractors, Garden Care Equipment, and Compact Construction Equipment (CCE). This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment and execution across headquarters, product development, and quality management teams.

Responsible for product improvements, overall product development, and communication between Daedong-Korea and Daedong-USA regarding technical issues that arise. Responsibilities also include replacement parts pricing and dealer communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

  • Management new product development, including prototype development and testing
  • Assist in the planning, tracking, and reporting of product development timelines and milestones
  • Prepare product documentation, testing feedback, and quality assurance materials as needed
  • Responsible for the flow of communication and notifications of improvements to various departments including Product Support, Parts, and Sales
  • Support strategic product development initiatives across Tractors, Garden Care, and CCE
  • Coordinate effectively with headquarters, R&D, and quality teams to drive product performance and market fit
  • Ensure smooth communication and documentation between internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Participate in competitive analysis, market research, and customer feedback reviews to support product decisions
  • Communicate technical issues with Korean vendors and translate EDR’s from Korean to English
  • Monitoring and tracking test equipment as needed to include the equipment test plan, location, budgeting, disposal

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery, garden equipment, or construction equipment is a plus
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global product teams
  • Bilingual ability (Korean/English) is required
