The Opportunity
CACI has an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer as part of a great team of professionals in support of the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) contract, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In performing network engineering activities for directed modification efforts, you will be indirectly supporting the continued delivery of telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) capabilities to a variety of Satellite Control Network(SCN) users.
Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer you will work both alone, and with at a team of high quality Network Engineers on efforts to plan, design, develop, procure, produce, install, integrate, test, and verify operations and requirements compliance for changes to the SCN systems in the form of modification projects.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, be able to work autonomously as well as with a team. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic, fast paced environments that require team interaction, collaboration, and coordination of efforts. The candidate must also be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. This position will require occasional both CONUS, and OCONUS travel.
Qualifications
Required
โ€ข Must have current, or be able to obtain, and keep a DoD adjudicated Secret security clearance
โ€ข BA/BS, or 3+ years related work experience
โ€ข Current certification that meets, or exceeds DoD Directive 8140 requirements
โ€ข OSPF Cryptographic Authentication Experience
โ€ข Experience with Policy maps, class maps, and Access control list configurations
โ€ข Quality of Service (QOS) configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting
โ€ข Cisco routers and Cisco catalyst switches in a standalone and stacked environment
โ€ข Troubleshooting methods (Packet Capture, etc.)
โ€ข Experience working with, and supporting Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Routers, and Switches in a complex enterprise environment
