Maxonis looking for an experienced Senior Motion Designer who is passionate about branding, design, and animation. Therole requires theability to bring ideas to life and an aptitude for visual storytelling. The right candidate should have conceptual skills creating innovative motion work aligned to identity systems, and experience working across animationtoolsincluding Cinema 4D, Redshift,ZBrush,After Effects, and PremierePro.

What you will do:

  • Conceptualize and produce high-quality motion design projects for diverse digital platforms including web, social media, advertisements, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines across all projects.

  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies in motion graphics, integrating innovative techniques and tools into projects, testing newproducts,and providing suggestions.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, nurturing their technical skills and creative development.

  • Take ownership of projects from ideation and manage multiple projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results.

  • Present motion design concepts confidently, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions, and contributing valuable insights and creative solutions to strategic discussions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts into dynamic visual narratives and collaborate closely with stakeholders to grasp project goals and deliver solutions that delight.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in motion design.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Showcaseof a robust portfolio featuring diverse motion design projects, includingproficiencyin Cinema 4D, Redshift, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro; ZBrush experience preferred

  • Adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • First experience in people leadership and mentoring junior team members

  • Attention to detail in all aspects of motion design, including design production, asset preparation, animation, timing, and visual composition.

  • Collaborative, flexible mindset, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Salary Range (California)*:
USD 100,000 - 145,000 annually

Salary Range (Germany)*:
USD 75,000 - 95,000 annually
