JOB SUMMARY
The Lehigh Valley Spirits and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are seeking a Motion Graphics Coordinator for the 2026-27 Major Arena Soccer League season for the Lehigh Valley Spirits.
This position is a paid seasonal job for the Lehigh Valley Spirits' Game Presentation Department, running through the 2026-27 MASL soccer season. The ideal candidate is required to split hours between game days/nights and normal office hours (depending on the home game schedule) to assist the Senior Motion Graphics Designer and other members of the Creative Department, on an as-needed basis.
The Motion Graphics Coordinator will report to the Senior Motion Graphics Designer to learn the workflow of creating motion graphics in the front office, transferring them to the control room, and operating content management software during games.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Train under the Senior Motion Graphics Designer on MASL and AHL game days to learn operations
  • Work closely with the Creative Department and Corporate Partnership Team to create materials for all LED content and sponsor activations for MASL games
  • Create, design, proofread, and edit motion graphics content for the Lehigh Valley Spirits
  • Organize MASL game day media (videos, photos, etc.)
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects associated with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or currently pursuing), preferably in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field
  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of work experience in motion graphics or design
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud - including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must. Proficiency with Premiere Pro and any 3D software is a plus
  • Familiarity with typography, compositing, and any other forms of design
  • Experience with Ross Video software (Carbonite, Xpression, Tessera) is not required, but it will make up a substantial part of this role. Any familiarity is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of sports and soccer is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience working in broadcast or production rooms is a benefit
