Job description

Job Summary:

This position will assist in all aspects of Facilities Presentation, specializing in graphic and motion design. This is a highly creative position that will conceptualize and execute creative content that will support the overall creative vision of projects. This position requires a flexible work schedule, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.

Essential Duties:

  • Brainstorm, conceptualize and execute creative ideas for event and arena visual initiatives.
  • Basic knowledge and operation on all video, audio, production, and lighting systems preferred.
  • Assist in executing strategy through visual assets, video, and interactive experiences.
  • Track emerging graphic, animation, video, print and digital media trends and how they might apply to the organization and communicate to the Director Facility Presentation.
  • Projects as requested by Facility Presentation management.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of high school diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred).
  • Three years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in a range of software applications such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience as it relates to video/scoreboard production in a facility, organizing and directing event production requirements for events.
  • Excellent layout, color theory and typography skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a pulse on current and trendy design styles.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and successfully turn projects around quickly.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays based on event schedule.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant operation of computer and other office productivity equipment/machinery.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in video/scoreboard production in a 16,000+ seat sports and entertainment facility preferred.
  • Knowledge and previous experience working with NBA, NHL/AHL, NCAA, FELD Entertainment, AEG Presents, Live Nation and other concert and family show promoters.
  • College Degree or equivalent experience in a combination of fields including art, design, animation, and video production.
  • Experience with Premiere, and other software.
