Overview
Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Junior Logistics Support Analyst to support the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Delta 11 Logistics Management Team.
The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in Department of Defense (DoD) logistics, preferably supporting the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force. This position supports logistics tracking, property accountability, equipment management, and related activities across Delta 11's portfolio.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Logistics Support Candidate will:
  • Provide day-to-day logistics, property management, and administrative support to the Space Delta 11 Logistics Office
  • Utilize approved DoD Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSRs) to track, inventory, and maintain accountability of IT, communications, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), and range training equipment
  • Assist with property inventory, asset tracking, and equipment accountability to ensure accurate and current records
  • Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and property transfer documentation, including DD Form 1149 and other required forms
  • Coordinate routine equipment transfers, shipments, receipts, and property movements with government personnel and other stakeholders
  • Maintain organized logistics records, property documentation, and supporting files in accordance with applicable DoD requirements
  • Assist with identifying and resolving routine property accountability and logistics discrepancies
  • Support additional logistics and administrative activities required to maintain Delta 11 mission readiness

Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Junior Logistics Support Candidate must have:
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 3+ years of relevant DoD experience in logistics, supply, property, materiel management, or a related field
  • Experience supporting DoD logistics operations, preferably within the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force
  • Working knowledge of Government Property Management regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with DoD Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSRs) and property accountability processes
  • Experience with asset tracking, inventory management, equipment transfers, and shipping/receiving activities
  • Familiarity with preparing and processing DD Form 1149 and related property or shipping documentation

Security Clearance
A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
