Job description

Our leadership team is responsible for supporting each other in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of key focus areas for operational excellence. A leader is expected to provide genuine hospitality on a daily basis and treat everyone with honor, dignity, and respect. A leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Leader Responsibilities:

  • Works under the influence of each Director in the business (Talent, Guest Experience, Sales & Brand Growth, Financial Stewardship)
  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant, including using all systems and checklist provided
  • Enhance the guest's experience by showing care to our guests and team
  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our purpose, mission, values and culture at the highest level everyday
  • Assist in training of the team, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Count drawers or record inventory loss
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
  • Ability to be a good steward with a growth-mindset who strives for excellence
  • Ability to be a good servant with a caring heart who enjoys what they do
  • Ability to be a good example with high integrity who develops others
  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
