Summary

Looking for a Landscape Architect/Project Manager to lead planning and design work from master planning through detailed design, serving as both project manager and hands-on contributor. Good fit for someone who can mentor junior staff, help grow the business, and represent projects through public review and approval processes. Some travel required, including on short notice.

Key responsibilities -
  • Lead projects from master planning through detailed design as both project manager and contributor
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and mid-level staff
  • Drive business development: networking, proposal prep, interviews, and fee negotiation
  • Prepare and review deliverables including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans, and specs
  • Lead presentations in public and private settings, including design review and entitlement processes
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Participate in committees and special projects as needed
Qualifications -
  • 5-8 years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect, including planning and design of communities, parks, and streetscapes
  • Registered Landscape Architect
  • Experience leading projects through design review, entitlement, or similar public approval processes
  • Land and site planning design experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Track record of mentoring junior staff and working well as part of a team
Requirements -
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
