Job description

Landscape Crew Member / Driver – Full-Time (Cary, NC)

Join a small, friendly team that values quality work and appreciates its employees.

We’re a Cary-based residential landscape design and installation company looking for a full-time Landscape Installer / Driver to assist with planting trees, shrubs, and flower beds. This is a hands-on, outdoor role — no experience required, just someone who is reliable with great attitude and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal flowers

  • Preparing, installing garden beds, and mulching / pinestraw

  • Working collaboratively with a small, supportive crew

  • Driving a pickup truck with a small trailer carrying plants, mulch and garden soil. (No large equipment or machinery- like Bobcats)

What we don’t do:

  • No lawn maintenance, mowing, or chemical applications

  • No hardscaping (paver patios, stone walls, etc.)

Why Work With Us?

  • No weekends, no late nights – 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

  • Laid-back environment – No micromanaging

  • Tight-knit team – You’re not just a number

  • Opportunities to grow – This role can evolve into a Crew Lead position for the right person

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Must be 18 or older

  • Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working on a team

  • Must speak English and be able to reliably commute to our office in Cary

  • Any landscaping experience is a plus, but not required – we can teach you everything.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Comfortable driving a truck with a small trailer (or willing to learn)

Starting Pay:

  • $16-18 and hour for labor/driver position depending on experience.
(Pay increases based on experience, reliability, and growth into leadership roles)

This could be a great fit if:

  • You enjoy working outdoors and want your evenings and weekends free

  • You want to learn about landscape design, ornamental landscaping and native plants

  • You’re tired of working for large, high-pressure landscaping crews

We’ve been in business for 23 years, and we believe in treating people right — our team enjoys what they do, and it shows in the long relationships we build with both employees and customers. If you’re looking for a stable, enjoyable landscaping job where you can take pride in your work and be appreciated, we’d love to hear from you.
