Junior HVAC Service Technician

Star Heating and Cooling is looking for a motivated Junior HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic experience who is dependable, customer-oriented, and excited to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry with hands-on training and mentorship.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $21.00 - $29.00 per hour (starting pay based on experience) plus performance bonuses

Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-call rotation begins only after full training)

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and basic repairs on residential heating and cooling systems
  • Provide friendly, professional service and communicate clear recommendations to customers
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with senior technicians while gradually working more independently
  • Continuously develop your technical skills through structured training and field experience

Requirements

  • EPA Type II Certification (required)
  • Minimum 6 months of previous HVAC service or maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus
