Description
This is a junior role with High Visibility & Broad Exposure: Unlike siloed roles, GRC touches every part of the business. You won’t just be sitting in the IT department; you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Legal, HR, and Executive Leadership.
Mentorship & Skill Development: You will get dedicated time to learn the ropes of enterprise security frameworks, with support for pursuing industry-standard


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain security policy and process documentation per industry best practices and to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of employee security training
  • Respond to Requests for Information from third party audits and customer security inquiries
  • Support internal and external audit work for ISO 27001, Soc2 Type 2, CSA Star, CAIQ, NIS2 and DORA
  • Update security metrics for executive management consumption of risk reporting regularly
  • Maintain current knowledge of security best practices and emerging threats and regulations


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Baseline understanding of IT/Security fundamentals.

• Willingness to continuously study for industry certifications.

• 0–2 years of experience in IT, tech support, compliance, or business operations.
• Relevant internships or academic capstone projects.
• High proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
• General IT literacy (basic networking, OS, cloud concepts).

• Familiarity with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Clear, diplomatic written and verbal communication.

• Highly coachable and receptive to feedback.
• Persistence in following up on tasks
