Expedition Technology (EXP), is to hire motivated junior engineers to join our team!
As a junior engineer at EXP, you'll work on a variety of applied engineering programs with the goal of helping advance our missions with the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities. You will experience the full lifecycle of modern software development; from Agile scrum meetings, designing new features, developing new capabilities using the latest open-source frameworks, and applying the latest in machine learning research to produce viable products. At EXP, your work will make an impact from day one.

As a member of our team, you will:
  • work with an extremely talented, motivated, supportive and welcoming team in an Agile ecosystem.
  • perform software systems development, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of cutting-edge software programs and products.
  • work together with your team to determine overall application design, gather requirements, develop tools and enhancements and deploy enterprise-wide solutions.
  • develop solutions to complex issues that involve employing creativity, technical prowess and out-of-the-box thinking to achieve results.

Here are the skills you'll need to succeed:
  • United States Citizenship - all applicants must be eligible for a US Government-issued security clearance of Top Secret or higher. US Citizenship is required for this clearance
  • Prior summer internship experience at Expedition Technology
  • An active US government-issued security clearance OR currently in-process for a security clearance
  • Experience with some of the following programming languages, Python, Javascript, Java and/or C++
  • Comfortable working with Linux (Ubuntu) based operating systems (command line operations, bash scripting)
  • Some knowledge of machine learning
