Location: Richmond, VA (23020)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Programmer Analyst to join our team. This role involves developing applications and services within a hybrid work environment (3 days onsite). You will be a key player in rewriting a legacy system, contributing to the E-Gov group's efforts to enhance connectivity and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications using .NET technologies (C#/VB.NET).
  • Collaborate in an agile environment with defined sprints and processes.
  • Utilize SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and GIT for project management.
  • Create and modify SQL Server database objects.
  • Work with web services including ASP.NET, SOAP, and JSON.

Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years in iterative software development in an agile environment
  • 5+ years of N-Tier software development with .NET technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with SDLC tools (Azure DevOps/TFS/GIT)
  • 5+ years of working with ASP.NET web services (SOAP, XML, JSON)
  • 5+ years with .NET Framework 3.5+ (C#/VB.NET)

Desired Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years with Angular
