Job description

General Purpose of Job:  
The Sr Associate, Media Operations, Ad Operations is crucial to the success of our advertising campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital advertising and excellent technical skills. This is an ideal role for an experienced Ad Operations / traffic professional seeking to leverage their AdTech troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage complex digital and traditional advertising campaigns, which include implementing campaigns across ad servers and other technologies, ensuring proper creative implementation
  • Implement tracking pixels, troubleshoot AdTech platforms, and assist with tag management systems to ensure proper measurement and attribution 
  • Collaborate with team members to complete day-to-day tasks for stakeholders 
  • Assist with the documentation of internal processes and policies tied to ad operations 
  • Manage data related to advertising campaigns, including list uploads and segmentation for targeting purposes 
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations 
  • Integrate offline data sources with relevant digital platforms 
  • Audit existing platform setups and provide recommendations 
  • Assist with the discovery of new technologies, concepts, or processes 
  • Mentor junior team members, providing support and training on campaign management, technical implementation, and troubleshooting 
  • Reinforce best practices and processes; identify and execute on opportunities for improvement 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, contribute to ad operations processes and procedures, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • Channels include but are not limited to:  Programmatic, Search, SEO, Social, Affiliate, Marketplace, Influencer, Broadcast and Out-of-Home

Job Requirements:
Education: 

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language 
     

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of experience in ad operations or a related field 
  • Understanding of and proven experience with AdTech platforms and ad tagging methodologies
  • Experience with tag management systems and data management platforms is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a highly functioning team 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with aptitude for developing and determining the optimal ways to setup, deliver, troubleshoot, and QA/QC 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; focus on fostering strong, collaborative relationships at a tactical level 
  • High comfort level participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions 
  • Ability to work with a team to think tactically and execute accurately in order to align media execution with client needs 
  • Ability to travel <5%

Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $69,620-$86,910, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
