Junior CAD Manager – Bentley Software

Are you ready to advance your career beyond drafting, and instead grow into a technical expert and a CAD Lead? We are hiring a Junior CAD Manager to focus on digital design technology, process improvement, and helping teams work smarter.

This is not a production role. You’ll be part of a larger dedicated digital design team of CAD Managers that supports engineers and designers use of Bentley software across a wide range of civil engineering projects. You’ll help shape the tools, standards, and workflows people rely on every day.

Why This Job:

  • Advance from production drafting into management of technology
  • Partner with, and learn from, experienced CAD Managers
  • Flexible work environment – hybrid or fully remote for the right person
  • Outstanding compensation up to $120,000 and benefits including 401(k) match, and full health coverage
  • True work-life flexibility – adjust your schedule, bank PTO hours, and take time when you need it
  • Employee ownership – share directly in company success through stock ownership
  • Clear advancement path – opportunity to grow into management, leadership, and influence firm-wide technology

Responsibilities:

As the CAD Manager, you’ll guide the use of Bentley digital design platforms and workflows across multiple business units. Your responsibilities will include:

Technical Leadership

  • Champion enterprise CAD technology including Bentley OpenRoads, ProjectWise, and integrated applications
  • Evaluate workflows and implement solutions that support evolving project and software requirements
  • Lead troubleshooting and serve as the go-to expert for application issues and escalations
  • Ensure consistent and quality project setups aligned with client expectations

Training & Onboarding

  • Develop and deliver training programs for CAD users
  • Launch and manage a designer onboarding curriculum, ensuring new hires are fully equipped to succeed
  • Create and maintain a library of training documentation and materials

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of previous experience with Bentley OpenRoads or Bentley product suites – either managing or using
  • A desire to advance from project drafting into management of drafting software
  • Familiarity with DOT standards a plus
  • Working knowledge of document management, learning management, and file-sharing systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated by continuous improvement

Confidentially apply today to take the next step in a CAD leadership journey!
