Job description

• 12+ years of Data architecture and Snowflake based data transformation projects delivery experience in Banking space.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders on client side to gather requirements; understand the needs, collaboratively build data solutions and have them delivered by team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate work well between customer, onshore team members and the team at offshore; identify and resolve problems.
• Have the ability to convince customer stakeholders on matters in the best interest of the project.
• Lead and foster junior data engineers in their careers to produce higher quality solutions at a faster velocity through optimization training and code review
• Develop and ensure adherence from team to published system architectural decisions and development standards
• Support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternatives to processes and technologies to an architectural review board
• Multi-task across several projects tasks and daily duties of varying priorities as required; help team prioritise tasks. Be agile to any changes in priorities or direction in the interest of the overall project goal.
• Most importantly looking for a great team player radiating a positive and supportive demeanor.
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong Snowflake architecture knowledge & working experience
• Excellent in SQL, Snow SQL programming, stored procedures, dimensional data modelling, DevOps CI/CD.
• Work Experience in any cloud based ETL eco-system
• Work experience of integrating with any of the industry leading Data governance (eg. Collibra) and DevOps (ex: Coalesce/DBT) tools
Good to have skills(Optional):
• Data vault 2.0 modeling
• Experience of implementing Banking analytics use cases (ex: Customer 360, Credit risk scoring) and leveraging of AI/ML tools
• Candidate should possess sufficient Banking functional knowledge (Deposits/Loans/Asset Mgmt areas) to understand business context of source systems data.
