Job description

Overview
The Senior Enterprise Data Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Data organization, responsible for advancing enterprise data governance, architecture, and quality across the Bank.
This role leads strategic initiatives to improve data quality, governance, reporting, and analytics, driving measurable business value through technical expertise, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. The position partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen enterprise data capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable data-driven decision-making.
This individual also provides expert consultation to leadership, and other stakeholders, and may mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Data Governance & Strategy
  • Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, including metadata management to support scalability and program maturity
  • Establish and operationalize data stewardship models and workflow to drive ownership, accountability, and adoption
  • Partner with business and technology teams to align governance initiatives with enterprise strategy
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through strong data management practices
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends in financial services and data management

Collibra Platform Leadership
  • Serve as the Collibra subject matter expert, leading platform architecture, design, and implementation
  • Define and manage the Collibra operating model, including domains, asset types, attributes, relationships, roles, and workflows
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Collibra solutions
  • Design and enable integrations between Collibra and enterprise systems (e.g., BI tools, MDM, reference data platforms)
  • Optimize and enhance defect management processes within Collibra to improve operational efficiency

Data Quality & Management
  • Design and implement enterprise data quality frameworks, including datasets, rules, controls, monitoring, and remediation processes
  • Lead initiatives to improve data profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution
  • Enhance the quality, storage, and management of enterprise data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Perform and oversee critical reporting validations (e.g., month-end) to ensure accuracy and completeness

Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions to modernize analytics and improve business insights
  • Identify and create centralized, business-critical reports
  • Support leadership with ad hoc and strategic data analysis initiatives

Documentation & Metadata Management
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including:
    • Source-to-target mappings
    • Data dictionaries
    • Data lineage and metadata artifacts
  • Evaluate and implement solutions for metadata management, data cataloging, and data classification

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Promote enterprise adoption of data governance practices through engagement and training
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and consultants
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to identify opportunities for improving data capabilities

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) - Practitioner level or higher
  • Prior experience in financial services or banking

Technical Skills & Experience
  • Strong expertise in data governance frameworks and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra (Ranger certification preferred)
  • Experience with Collibra Data Quality or comparable data quality tools
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and SaaS/cloud ecosystems
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data lineage
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos)
  • Exposure to SAS (Base SAS, Enterprise Guide) or similar tools is a plus
