Job description

TGG is seeking experienced a Junior Communications Systems Specialist to join our Exercise and Training Events Support team. This role requires extensive experience in operating audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems/equipment.

Responsibilities:

Secure and Non-Secure Voice Over Internet Protocol telephones (VOIP); Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN); Audio recorder; Enhanced Communications Console (ECC); AMX Video Display unit; PLANAR Video Wall, Digital Integrated Communications Electronic System (DICES) thin client audio controller; Distributive Continuity Integrated Network-TS (GOLD); Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS); Voice-Over-Internet Protocol (VOIP) terminals; STRATCOM Training and Enterprise Network (STEN); Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES), and/or Joint Integrated Missile Defense Missile Warning Training System (JIMDTS).

Qualifications:

Note: For this position, the government is looking for experts in the day-to-day operations of the communications systems indicated. They are not looking for experience in the trouble shooting, maintenance repair of the systems. Please ensure that experience is reflected in the resume you submit.

  • Shall possess a minimum of 4 years' experience on one or more of the systems/equipment types listed above.
  • Shall have 5 years of experience in Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Operations, to include MAJCOM-level experience operating audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems/equipment. (Command/Operations Center/Battle Staff experience is desirable.

Security Requirements:

  • Top Secret clearance with current SCI and NC2 eligibility.
