About the Opportunity

Join Vitrek as a Senior Analog Electrical Engineer and play a key role in shaping the next generation of precision instrumentation. Based in our Albany, NY engineering center of excellence, you’ll lead system-level design initiatives while collaborating with a high-performing team of electrical and software engineers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering high-performance, low-noise analog solutions.

You’ll report directly to the Vice President of Engineering and have the opportunity to influence both new product development and the evolution of our existing product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including:
    • Component selection
    • SPICE simulation
    • Schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM development
    • Debugging and validation
  • Design and optimize circuits with a focus on low-noise performance and stability
  • Conduct circuit performance testing and analysis
  • Support legacy products and ongoing production efforts
  • Provide application and technical support as needed
  • Contribute to project leadership and mentor junior engineers (as applicable)

What You Bring

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog circuit design
  • Strong experience with mixed-signal systems and debugging
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%, domestic/international)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with low power switching inverters (<50W)
  • Design of low and ultra-low noise amplifiers (op-amps and discrete)
  • Audio amplifier design experience
  • Active analog filter design
  • Exposure to RF circuit design and testing
