Job description

The Business Applications Developer II role is responsible for executing solid, well-structured solutions within established architectural frameworks. This role operates with greater independence, refining requirements, solving complex feature-level problems, and contributing meaningfully to system design and quality. The Business Applications Developer II works across all enterprise products and capabilities, collaborating directly with users and cross-functional teams to clarify needs and validate solutions. This role plays a key part in sustaining and improving the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of enterprise software systems.

The Exponential Technology Group (XTG) is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries.  XTG is part of the TTI Family of Companies. This position can be on-site or hybrid in Denver, CO. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Design and implement features or components within broader solution architectures.

Refine and clarify requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and team members.

Contribute input to technical designs and implementation approaches.

Develop, test, and maintain integrations within and across Dynamics 365 applications. 

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to application behavior, data, or integrations.

Apply best practices in coding, testing, refactoring, and documentation.

Actively contributes to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts.

Provide informal guidance or assistance to junior developers as needed. 

Continuously expand technical breadth across enterprise tools, platforms, and domains. 

Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Typically, 3+ years of professional software development experience.

Demonstrated experience working with enterprise platforms.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications and development tooling.
  • Experience implementing solutions using established enterprise architecture patterns.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Exposure to or interest in agentic AI, automation, or AI-assisted tooling.

Total Annual Compensation: $85k - 100k / year.  Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
