Description of Duties:

Title: Junior Account Executive - International

Classification: Exempt

Salary Range *: $65,000/year -$80,000/year

Location: Van Nuys, CA

Schedule*: On-Site/Hybrid, Minimum 3 days in office/week

We are seeking an LA based Junior Account Executive, to support the existing Wholesale distribution, and focused Wholesale expansion (internationally and domestically), specifically supporting International Accounts- Department Store & Specialty). This role is more versatile than a traditional Wholesale Junior AE role as it will be responsible for wholesale and special project management within a Direct-to-Consumer environment; offering significant opportunity for learning and growth; but also requiring flexibility and openness to being a part of a unique and creative process from “market prep” through the shipping process and every area in-between.

Responsibilities:

“Market prep” and Selling Season

  • Attending product review meetings and assisting with assortment building and asset creation
  • Supporting preparation for seasonal product review, including reference sample pulls, organization of recaps, coordination of photography support and asset tracking/support
  • Compiling wholesale line sheets & Visual Tools to send to partners
  • Supporting Joor management for international accounts specifically: daily operations on JOOR, including product uploads, line sheet maintenance, and seasonal assortments.
  • Managing virtual market calendar and attending market appointments
  • Working closely with Head of International & Majors to help manage the day-to-day communications with customers
  • Cross-functional collaboration/support with the Brand President, Merchandising team, Production
  • Team, Operations Team and Sales consultants through market, projection and order management
  • Partnering with Operations/Customer Service team to audit orders following system order entry
  • Partnering with Finance, Ops and Production to support financial reconciliation and wholesale AR tracking
  • Participating in product collection reviews and assisting with the development of assortments and creative assets
  • Maintaining internal partnerships to communicate product updates, line adjustments, and delivery schedules to accounts
  • Processing and categorizing purchase orders while supporting revenue analysis and financial rollups
  • Working with the Wholesale team to refine product projections, recap financial data, and analyze style- specific minimums or drops
  • Auditing orders with the Operations and Customer Service teams post-entry and proactively maintaining accurate delivery details
  • Distributing formal order confirmations and finalized product data to wholesale partners
  • Partnering with Finance, Operations, and Production to facilitate financial reconciliation and track wholesale accounts receivable
  • Offering seasonal guidance to partners regarding global pricing strategies and markdown recommendations

Reporting, Recapping & Omni-Channel Planning Support

  • Partner with Ops team and Sales/Strategy consultants to complete market product and financial recaps
  • Partner with the wholesale team to contribute to “wholesale happenings” updates board presentations.
  • Selling Reports: Update style selling and end of season selling reports for all International “mini- major/multi-door accounts”, completing visual recaps for the team ahead of product milestones
  • Partnering with Operations/Customer Care support team in reviewing production reports, shipping reports and ETA reports weekly, communicating updates or extension requests with partners
  • Supporting revenue reporting and forecasting reporting.

Pop-ups, Specialty Wholesale and Special Projects/Collaborations

  • Assisting with organization and communication of international wholesale pop-ups
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Comms/Marketing, Design and Merchandising) to execute various elements of the special projections, pop-ups or collaborations.
  • Completing Product knowledge decks seasonally for each major international partner; working cross- functionally with teams internally to support the current Brand DNA, technical product knowledge and overall product information.
  • Auditing online presence regularly; communicating with partners on necessary updates, and styling notes.
  • Facilitate organization and communication of wholesale pop-ups internationally.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Coms/Marketing, Design and Merchandising) to execute various elements of the special projections, pop-ups or collaborations.
  • Fielding day to day questions and communication with international accounts; partnering with
  • Operations to ensure accounts have clear updates and communications regarding immediate orders, future orders and day-to-day shipping.

  • 2-4 years’ experience required in wholesale sales; ideally in contemporary or emerging designer space.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and updating selling reports and selling analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience working with apparel system, or quick learner in systems generally
  • Intermediate/advanced excel skills supporting multi-channel planning rollups & analysis
  • Prompt response time and efficient email correspondence internally and externally
  • Professional style in email correspondence and in person/virtual presentation; prepared to meet and correspond with top level international accounts
  • Ability to support the development of processes and identify procedural gaps
