Job description

Mid-sized Law Firm seeks an experienced Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support the Department with the prosecution of judicial foreclosure cases including case onboarding, drafting of pleadings, filing of complaints and motions, case monitoring, and conduct of court ordered sales in the six states in which it is licensed. Duties include e-filing, drafting all pleadings related to judicial foreclosure, extensive and timely updating of client systems, professional and timely responses to client phone calls and emails, and other project-based support as needed.

Qualifications/Job Requirements:
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced and frequently changing environment
  • Professional email etiquette, a customer service focus, and attention to detail are imperative
  • Minimum of 2 years drafting experience preferred
  • Minimum of 24 years judicial foreclosure experience required
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with efiling systems
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • JD Degree a plus
  • Position is hybrid remote at this time, but fully remote will be considered based upon the candidateโ€™s qualifications and experience. Pay range is based on experience.
