Areas of service include land development, surveying, surface transportation, water resources, and structural engineering as well as construction services in each of our major disciplines. Our in-house staff of talented engineers, surveyors, and support personnel enables us to respond quickly to demanding assignments, project schedules, and changing project scopes. With an annual Net Revenue of $18.5 million in 2025, JR Engineering currently has 100 employees with plans to grow to 120 employees over the next 3-5 years. Job Summary: The Marketing & Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the full proposal lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and strategically aligned submissions. This role supports business development and client managers by coordinating proposal content, maintaining branding standards, and assisting in broader marketing initiatives. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Manages the proposal process from receipt to submittal Develops proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices Edits and refines content for clarity, consistency, and tone Ensures compliance with RFP/RFQ instructions Applies JR branding, graphics, and formatting Coordinates resumes, project sheets, and firm information Manages final production and submission (PDFs, portals, hard copies) Advises Business Development and Client Managers on proposal structure and messaging Maintains and updates proposal templates and marketing materials Tracks proposal metrics (submittals, wins, hit rates) Supports SOQs, brochures, presentations, and interviews Assists with booths at conferences Protects JR Engineering from non-compliant or rushed submissions Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong editing and document production capabilities Understanding of proposal compliance requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of related experience required Knowledge and experience with the following software: Microsoft Office Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop (optional) Adobe Illustrator (optional) AI tools for graphics/content such as ChatGPT or Adobe Firefly Benefits include: Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage Life and AD&D Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Retirement Savings Plan (401K) - 35% Company match Employee Assistance Program Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off Flexible Schedule Tuition Reimbursement Company-sponsored events JR Engineering, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
