Roadtex Transportation has become a leader in the nationwide LTL industry, specializing in transporting time and temperature-sensitive products. We handle refrigerated and LTL needs by leveraging no sailing schedules, our nationwide network of 32 strategically placed temperature-controlled facilities, our state-of-the-art tracking, and our specialized equipment and warehousing capabilities. In 2022, Roadtex was acquired by Echo Global Logistics. The acquisition brings a truckload brokerage and expanded transportation management solutions to Roadtex's customers while providing Echo with our national warehouse footprint and advanced temperature-controlled transportation solutions.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst is a key member of the corporate support organization, responsible for delivering actionable analytics and supporting execution of strategic operational initiatives. This hybrid role combines business intelligence, governance support, and structured project coordination across Continuous Improvement (CI), onboarding, operational standardization, and emerging AI initiatives.

The position is designed to provide immediate organizational impact while serving as a developmental pathway into advanced analytics, project leadership, and operational strategy roles.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Performance Management

Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.

Analyze labor, productivity, service, and operational KPI trends to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.

Conduct root cause analysis to support governance reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for executive and operational stakeholders.

Standardize reporting methodologies and KPI definitions across sites and functions to improve consistency and decision-making accuracy.

Support forecasting, labor planning, and operational performance analysis initiatives.

Project Coordination & Governance Support

Coordinate execution activities for CI initiatives, RCCA programs, onboarding projects, SOP development, and AI pilot implementations.

Develop and maintain project charters, timelines, action trackers, and status reporting tools.

Facilitate communication and follow-up accountability across cross-functional teams.

Prepare governance materials including KPI scorecards, executive summaries, meeting decks, and project updates.

Track milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues to support on-time project delivery.

Support structured project execution using Agile and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

2-5 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, project coordination, or operational support roles.

Experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, retail, or service operations environments preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analytics tools.

Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and/or Tableau.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret operational data.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
