Job description

Position Overview

The High Jewelry Manager for the Southwest Market drives client relations and the client experience through developing and managing the high net worth, high potential client with continued expansion of our VIC/VVIC clients for the market. The role will focus on enhancing and expanding the High Jewelry client network through partnering with store Leadership on High Jewelry presentation, education, product positioning, and client experience. This individual will partner closely with stores Sales Management, Client Experience, and Learning & Development to prepare the team in delivering the highest level of client experience.

The Manager must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united and mutually supportive manner. Key Accountabilities 

Build the Relationship

  • Develop relationship with VIC/VVIC client network, personally meeting clients and working with Client Advisors and build partnership to exceed the client's expectations 
  • Work with market leaders to develop and execute effective outreach for VIC clients 
  • Support new product launches, High Jewelry caravans, and ad hoc product events 
  • Partner with Market Vice President and Director of Client Relations, Events, and High Jewelry on sales pipeline of business within the market.
  • Understand client history and develop individual product positioning strategy with selling team.
  • Connect with and Recruit potential VIC clients through community engagement and strategic involvement with society 

Enhance the Experience

  • Partner with Retail Learning on developing selling skills and business acumen of HJ Specialists 
  • With store leadership, identify areas of opportunity in High Jewelry knowledge and collections. 
  • Work with Client Relations team and internal partners to develop collateral for in-store client activations, virtual experiences, Blue Book and High Jewelry events

Create the Dream

  • Develop new and creative ideas to animate stores in market (in-store and virtually) during festive moments, product launches, High Jewelry events and other specific retail needs
  • Work with production companies, agencies and vendors to support and execute client actions strategy
  • Partner with Client Experience team to ensure appropriate client treatment before, during, and after VIC appointments
  • Host and enhance Blue Book and High Jewelry appointments as needed.

Qualification

  • 7 years of experience within High Jewelry and Client Relations
  • Flexible schedule with potential night and weekend availability
  • Must be creative with a high taste level
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills 
  • GIA, GG or AJP certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

The hiring range for this position ranges from $111,350 -157,200. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
