Position Summary

The Professional Jewelry Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building long-term client relationships, and achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate has a proven sales track record, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with the purchase of fine jewelry, gifts, and luxury products.
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Develop expertise in jewelry, gemstones, and custom design services.
  • Coordinate jewelry repair intake and assist customers with custom design projects.
  • Maintain merchandise displays and support inventory presentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and workshop teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience; fine jewelry or luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic math proficiency, including percentages and transactions.

Preferred

  • Proven ability to generate $1M+ in annual sales or demonstrated potential to do so.
  • Passion for learning about jewelry, gemstones, and luxury products.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage with customers throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and ladder use.
  • Strong visual abilities, including close vision, color recognition, and depth perception.
