Job Title: Watch and Jewelry Merchandising Specialist
Location: Waldorf, MD
Job Type: Part Time
Pay: $20-$22 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)
Expected Hours: Varies, Project-Based
 
Job Overview: 
Winston Retail is seeking a watch and jewelry merchandiser to bring our client’s modern design vision to life in-store. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating visually engaging displays that highlight timepieces and jewelry, while ensuring the space remains well-stocked, organized, and aligned with brand standards. This hands-on position blends attention to detail with operational precision to deliver a premium shopping experience that reflects our client’s legacy of innovation and style.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with store teams and management to uphold visual merchandising standards and ensure clear communication around merchandising needs
  • Implement visual merchandising that reflects a clean, modern aesthetic and aligns with brand standards
  • Style product presentations to highlight craftsmanship and elevate the in-store experience
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure key items are displayed on the sales floor
  • Support new product launches with compelling, on-brand visual storytelling
  • Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
  • Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
  • Smartphones are required for reporting: 
    • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
    • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift
Experience & Skills: 
  • Strong eye for detail and aesthetics, with a passion for design presentation
  • Familiarity with luxury retail standards and customer expectations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving brand direction
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
