Job description

Our client is looking for an accounting Assistant.

Title: Accounting Assistant

Status: Direct Hire, Full Time with Benefit

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Salary: 47-48K

Position Details:

Full-time, on-site role at our location in Northwest Indy

Standard 9-to-5 work hours with little overtime expected

Responsibilities (most will be shared with other team members):

Post and manage data in the internal ERP system with accuracy and attention to detail

Review and process A/R invoices and payment receipts in the ERP system

Review and process A/P product/non-product invoices and payments in the ERP system

Process credit/debit memo, rebate/commission, and inventory adjustment requests as necessary

Perform cash and other subledger account reconciliations

Support ISO internal management and admin tasks as assigned by supervisor


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred), or equivalent experience

Work experience with ERP or accounting system or data entry

Basic accounting knowledge

Strong numerical and analytical skills a must

Ability to multi-task and work independently while paying attention to details

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
