Janitorial Operations Supervisor

  • Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Location: Jake Alexander Blvd S, Salisbury, NC (Overseeing 4 Rowan-Cabarrus campuses; reliable transportation and MVR required)

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM (Full-Time)

  • Requirements: Previous janitorial experience, strong communication/reporting skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

As a Janitorial Operations Supervisor, you will lead our evening team to ensure campus facilities remain spotless and safe. Working as our on-site Cleaning Supervisor, your routine will include:

  • Overseeing and working directly with evening service partners across four local campuses to meet client standards.

  • Creating basic shift reports with photos and descriptions of completed tasks.

  • Performing hands-on general cleaning, including pulling trash, dusting, restroom cleaning, and vacuuming.

  • Coordinating special projects like floor scrubbing, event setups, and filling in at sites as a backup Janitorial Shift Supervisor.

  • Training employees on proper safety, PPE usage, and advanced disinfection technology.

What You Bring To The Team / Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior professional janitorial and floor care experience is required.

  • Leadership: Great communication skills to resolve employee issues and build strong client relationships.

  • Tech Skills: Ability to write basic status reports and take/upload photos.

  • Requirements: Must have reliable transportation and a clear MVR. Bilingual skills are a major plus but not required!

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.
