Custodial Site Manager

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing janitorial operations, staff performance, service quality, safety compliance, and client satisfaction at assigned client sites. This position serves as the primary on-site representative for ServiceMaster Elite Janitorial and works closely with client site-level management to ensure services are performed according to contract scope, company standards, and client expectations.

The Site Manager provides leadership and daily direction to janitorial staff and supervisory team members, ensuring all areas are properly staffed, cleaned, inspected, and maintained. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, addressing service issues, supporting corrective action plans, responding to client concerns, and maintaining a consistent physical presence on-site to monitor work performance and provide hands-on support when needed.

Key responsibilities include developing and adjusting staffing schedules, monitoring labor hours and overtime, conducting routine inspections and audits, maintaining operational records, completing required reports, managing cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating training, and supporting onboarding, offboarding, payroll accuracy, and issue resolution. The Site Manager is also expected to promote a safe work environment, ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, and respond to urgent operational or safety concerns when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing janitorial contracts, teams, schedules, client relationships, and operational performance. This position requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with clients and coworkers, manage multiple priorities, accept direction and constructive feedback, maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, bend, twist, reach, squat, crawl, and work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions. The position may require lifting and/or carrying up to 25 pounds frequently.
