Partners Commercial Cleaning is seeking a diligent and experienced Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee our janitorial operations in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. At Partners Commercial Cleaning, we are committed to maintaining clean and safe environments for our clients, with an experience that will be delightful and for this, we need a skilled individual to ensure the smooth execution of our janitorial services.
Position Overview
As the Janitorial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective account management and coordination of all janitorial activities within assigned accounts. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients' facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety as well as creating an engaging and positive environment for the wellbeing of our team members. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team of janitorial staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize janitorial operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of all janitorial staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety and cleanliness audits of facilities to assess cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any maintenance issues.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor budgetary performance and control costs by implementing efficient practices and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and implement measures to minimize risk of accidents or injuries.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in janitorial services, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field preferred but not required.
-Proven experience in janitorial operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Solid understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals, as well as health and safety regulations.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and vendors.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and janitorial management software preferred.
-Bilingual (English/Spanish)
