Job description

Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, has a unique opportunity for a nurse, as a 3rd Party Coordinator-RN. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn fertility nursing alongside our multidisciplinary team and proven advanced patient communication skills. 3rd Party Coordinator-RNs are an integral part of our team and vital to helping us create a smooth and personal experience for each of our patients. The candidate must be energetic, organized, and self-directed with strong communication skills. We are seeking a full-time, Third Party IVF Coordinator at either our Bellevue or Seattle location.
General Duties:
  • Responsible for the ongoing communication between the physician and the patient
  • Triage phone calls with patients regarding patient medication, treatment plans, and test results
  • Maintain patient charting, testing, and flow sheets
  • Utilize skill and judgment in applying basic principles of professional nursing
  • Patient education on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols, and procedures
  • Support patients through the assisted reproductive technology (ART) process and egg donors through donation cycles
  • Coordinate patient cycles with the physicians, including all infertility diagnostic tests and treatment plans
  • Coordinates the completion of any necessary FDA testing and screening, infertility diagnostic testing and creates a treatment calendar to assist patient in following the prescribed protocol.
  • Support LGBTQ+ patients in fertility preservation and family building
  • Ability to cross-train and assist in other departments, including (but not limited to) PACU/procedure assisting, clinic rooming, phlebotomy
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, scheduled to take NCLEX for Washington State RN licensure in the next three months OR current licensure for Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • CPR Certification (Healthcare provider level)
  • Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday in office at either Seattle or Bellevue office
  • Experienced in EMR, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; SharePoint a plus.

This position is full time, Monday - Friday and includes occasional holiday and weekend coverage. May include coverage at our satellite office in Seattle. There is also the potential to transition into four tens once trained.
