Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across all O&M functional areas.
  • Serve as primary interface with Program Manager and Government stakeholders.
  • Oversee Critical Incident Management (24x7 operations, escalation, reporting).
  • Lead Network Services (LAN/WAN, monitoring, performance, security).
  • Manage Change, Configuration, and Release Management processes.
  • Direct Disaster Recovery and COOP planning, testing, and execution.
  • Oversee Communications Services (voice, video, messaging, collaboration platforms).
  • Manage On-Premises and Data Center Operations (servers, storage, virtualization).
  • Lead Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, hybrid environments, cost optimization).
  • Oversee Testing Services (functional, performance, security testing).
  • Enforce SLA compliance and deliver comprehensive performance reporting.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance (FISMA, NIST, DHS requirements).
  • Develop and execute workforce strategy, including staffing, training, and cross-functional alignment to ensure resilient, scalable operations.
  • Ensure operational resilience through cross-trained teams, standardized processes, and continuity planning to maintain mission performance during workforce fluctuations or high-tempo operations.
  • Own SLA performance across service areas, driving accountability, performance optimization, and continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability and any required clearances.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT O&M experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
  • Proven experience leading 40+ personnel across multi-disciplined programs in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL v4 and IT Service Management frameworks.
  • Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical operations.
  • Prior experience supporting TSA programs or DHS operational components.
  • Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
  • PMP, ITIL v4 Intermediate and/or Agile/Scrum certifications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GovCloud), hybrid environments, and cloud O&M models.
  • Understanding of TSA enterprise architecture, Zero Trust principles, and cybersecurity directives.
