Job description

Standard Job Description
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team to assist in the management of the Edwards Air Force Base Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) Warehouse. Develops necessary processes to carry out the roles and responsibilities of the OT&E warehouse. Assist the onsite property manager as required. Provide supervision and leadership to direct reports.
What You Will Be Doing:
Directs inventory sufficiency management with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Oversees the decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Manages military service inquiries, requests for proposals and provisioning determinations. Understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification. Manages the resolution of technical and support problems. Coordinates status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.
Additional resonsibilities & requirements include but are not limited to:
• Streamlining the OT&E warehouse, identifying spares locations, loading assets into the Industrial Financial System (IFS) Database, Management of the spares issues, receipt, and shipment.
• Responsible for subordinate recruitment, hiring and training and performance assessments and work-assignments.
• Manages the Continuity of Operations plan in the event IFS or the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) is unavailable.
• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess a valid drivers' license.
• Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
1. At least 5 years supply warehouse operations experience supporting aircraft operations.
2. At least 5 years leadership/managerial experience in training and supervising a diverse workforce.
3. Experience coordinating with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, or Maintenance Logistics Support leadership on logistics issues.
Desired Skills
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
1. Experience with Fifth Generation Aircraft Supply Chain Management
2. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
3. Capable of rapidly assimilating and utilizing multiple versions of asset controlling software and programs.
4. Possess an ability to work in a diverse/integrated work environment.
5. Possess the ability to perform periodic inspections and warehouse inventories.
6. Experience with warehouse layout and design.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
