Job description

Volatour is a leading Receptive Tour Operator in New York City seeking a bilingual Italian Speaking Sales Associate for our high-traffic concierge desk. This full-time position is based in a premier New York City hotel and focuses on providing exceptional service and travel solutions to international visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with international travelers and hotel guests to promote and sell New York City tours and activities.

  • Meet and exceed daily sales targets through proactive customer engagement and product knowledge.

  • Provide expert recommendations on local attractions, transportation, and sightseeing opportunities.

  • Manage booking software and process payments accurately for various travel services.

  • Coordinate with the main office to ensure seamless service delivery for all clients.

  • Maintain a professional appearance representing both Volatour and the partner hotel.

  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide high-level concierge support in both English and Italian.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both Italian and English is required for this role.

  • Strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting performance goals.

  • Professional presentation and a poised demeanor suitable for a luxury hotel environment.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including mandatory weekend shifts.

  • Proficiency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage.
