Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Logistics Assistant to join our team. As an Import Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics and documentation involved in our organization. You will work closely with the Import Logistics Manager and team to ensure the smooth flow of goods and compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong computer skills.

Import Export Assistant Responsibilities

  1. Manage the import by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  2. Prepare and review shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, and customs declarations.
  3. Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
  4. Assist in the preparation of import documentation for audits and compliance checks.
  5. Maintain accurate records of import transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
  6. Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers and suppliers.
  7. Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of import duties, taxes, and freight charges.
  8. Follow up on delivery issues and work with accounting team to file disputes

Import Export Assistant Required Skills
