Job description

Juliet Italian Kitchen is seeking a qualified Chef to lead our dynamic on‑site kitchen team. The position requires strong culinary knowledge and an unsurpassed desire to deliver an exceptional level of guest service. You will be overseeing all aspects of culinary operations under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, leading solo Chef‑On‑Duty shifts, managing the Back of House team, and maintaining Juliet’s standards.

Responsibilities
  • Run daily shifts / Expo.
  • Open and close shifts.
  • Conduct inventory counts weekly.
  • Order and receive product.
  • Enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Control labor and maintain COGS to operational standards.
  • Lead prep crew, line crew, and dish crew.
  • Maintain exceptional culinary standards.
  • Provide daily coaching and acknowledgement of staff.
  • Ensure new hires are properly onboarded.
  • Schedule kitchen staff.
  • Maintain training materials for all new hires.
  • Develop current team members to become trainers.
  • Serve as key holder for the restaurant.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager for an upscale‑casual dining concept.
  • Ability to run a busy, dynamic restaurant.
