LINE COOK Dolce Vita Modern Italian

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Dolce Vita Modern Italian is seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Dolce Vita's recipes and quality standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and attractively.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
  • Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook, preferably in an Italian restaurant.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques is highly preferred.
  • Food Handler or ServSafe Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
