Its capabilities include data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics. Job Description SOSi is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support production operations, software deployments, and enterprise application sustainment for a large federal information system. The Intermediate Systems Engineer will support day-to-day production operations, software releases, system administration, configuration management, and operational troubleshooting activities. Responsibilities * Support production operations.
* Assist with software deployments and release activities.
* Monitor production environments and troubleshoot operational issues.
* Support configuration management and documentation.
* Coordinate with software engineers and customer stakeholders to resolve production issues.
* Support testing and implementation activities. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems.
* Experience supporting production environments.
* Experience supporting software implementation activities.
* Technical skills in IBM z/OS, JCL, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Configuration Management
Preferred: * COBOL
* IDMS
* Enterprise financial systems
* ERP or payroll applications Additional Information Work Environment * Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations
* Remote or Hybrid work model * Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
