IT System Management Analyst

Location:  Farmington, CT, USA 06032 :: Onsite

Mode : Contract (6+ Months) – Onsite

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide 3 tier support
• Installing, configuring, upgrading, and repairing physical and virtual servers
• Migrating physical servers to VMware virtual machines
• Perform server and desktop patching, security, and software updates
• Installing and managing Windows Operating Systems, third party software, and office applications
• Setup and administration of Office 365 and Office 365 tools
• Perform project work as well as day to day incidents
• Install and maintain approved security tools, policies, and follow procedures
• Stay updated on the latest technology and industry trends, recommend equipment and system enhancements, to meet the IT needs of the organization
• Must be detail oriented and self-motivated individual who excels at solving end-user IT problems.
• Drive improvements in our VM and Citrix environments
• Ensure constant availability of datacenter resources
• Identify departmental needs and make recommendation regarding technical direction
• Design and implement systems and redundant backups to maintain system availability.
• Design and implement automated tasks to reduce the need for human intervention
