OverviewMaintains a clear, end-to-end operational picture of the IT ecosystem supporting the Louisville production facility. Serves as the primary hands-on IT lead for plant troubleshooting, incident management, shop-floor hardware, user support, and onboarding credentials, ensuring zero downtime on the manufacturing line.

  • About the Role: The IT Systems Administrator is the technical backbone of our Louisville manufacturing plant, bridging local production operations with local users and our global IT infrastructure. Working directly on-site, you will be responsible for diagnosing network and equipment faults, owning production-impacting IT incidents, managing vendor resolutions, providing day-to-day desktop and printer support, and managing technical onboarding (including user account credentials, system access, and time clock setup) for all incoming employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plant IT Operations & Troubleshooting: Maintain full operational awareness of local network segments, servers, shop-floor endpoints, packstations, kiosks, label/hall printers, and production workstations. Triage and reproduce technical faults hands-on to isolate network, host, or application issues.
    • Incident Management & Vendor Coordination: Own production-affecting IT incidents from intake to resolution. Coordinate day-to-day work with network partners, ISPs, and production equipment vendors; enforce root-cause analysis and keep plant leadership updated with clear status notices.
    • Onboarding & User Access Administration: Manage local access administration and onboarding setups, including assigning new hire system credentials, provisioning user accounts, setting up hardware, and configuring time clock access for plant employees.
    • Day-to-Day User Support: Provide prompt, hands-on support for local plant staff regarding computers, workstations, mobile scanners, printing equipment, conference room setups, and basic software troubleshooting.
    • Global Collaboration & Standards: Work closely with the Polish IT Operations team to ensure seamless knowledge transfer, compliance with global security protocols, and updated operational documentation and inventory logs.

    Essential Job Functions & Duty Disclosure:

    Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking across the manufacturing plant floor, bending, stooping, crouching, and repetitive hand/wrist movements. Must be able to regularly lift, move, and position IT equipment, servers, and peripherals weighing up to 40 lbs.

    Work Environment: Active manufacturing and office environment with exposure to plant machinery, production lines, server rooms, and moderate noise. Required PPE includes safety glasses and non-slip, closed-toe shoes when on the plant floor.
