Job Summary:
Five Star Home Services is a family-owned business in Central Ohio that focuses on serving clients with Residential Electric, HVAC, and Plumbing needs. They are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support, manage IT tickets, and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support (hardware, software, systems)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues—or escalate when needed
• Manage IT tickets, calls, and support requests
• Set up and configure employee devices and accounts
• Maintain and audit IT inventory and systems
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes
• Assist with AV setups and company events
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and improvements
• Document processes, fixes, and system updates
• Uphold IT security protocols and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software systems
• Strong knowledge of ticketing & device management tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized
