Job Description

The .Net Architect Software Engineer will be well versed in system development and design using C#, .Net, ASP.Net, and SQL Server.  They will help plan the future architectural plan for Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSOL and Company's Web Services (WS). Help design near term enhancements to the Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSOL, and WS. Help project manage and plan the Company's proprietary software off shore development effort. Help plan and propose future Company software products. Help resolve the current Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSOL, and WS architectural issues. Resolve defects and build enhancements as prioritized and sequenced by the Director of Software engineering and/or the Product Manager. Answer questions from and provide support to the Director of Compliance Filing. Participate in sales support calls. Report to the Director of Software Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Architect for the Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSLO and WS systems
    • Create development proposals and plans for the future architecture of Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, and its related systems
    • Create development proposals and plans for the future architecture of Company WS and BSOL
    • Develop enhancement to and resolve defects of Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSOL, WS and related systems
    • Design and develop Company's proprietary software, Company's proprietary software Maintenance, BSOL, WS and related systems
    • Answer customer questions and resolve customer support issues
    • Performs additional duties as requested
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master of Science degree or its equivalent
    • .Net architect
    • Highly experienced C#, .Net, ASP.Net, and SQL Server developer
    • Experienced with SQL Server system database design and system data access
    • Extensive support experience for C#, .Net, ASP.Net, and WinForm systems
    • 5+ years proven C#, .Net, ASP.Net, and SQL Server development experience
    • Strong communications skills
    • Strong interpersonal and technical skills
    • Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent management and planning abilities
