Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our HR team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As an HR Manager, you will oversee team member onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations, and serve as an important partner to your local and enterprise HR teams.

Pay
Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $73,400 - $99,100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to attract, hire, and onboard new team members
  • Be a bridge between your local and wider HR team; advocate for consistent best practices and share knowledge unique to your location
  • Develop and deliver training to new and existing team members, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their job functions, policies, procedures, and opportunities for growth
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

More about you
  • Minimum of three years of Human Resources Generalist experience, including at least two years in an HR Manager role; experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or large-scale retail environments strongly preferred
  • Previous experience using iCIMS, Workday, or similar HRIS system
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
  • Union experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak event periods.

Physical requirements
  • Ability to perform duties across the arena, including prolonged periods of walking, standing, and navigating event spaces.
