Information Technology Senior Manager

The Boeing Company's Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

  • Develops and executes integrated program plans, policies and procedures and provides input on program business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Leads cross-functional IT program execution across multiple product divisions and business units

  • Drives enterprise integration activities including network migration, application rationalization, identity consolidation, and business process harmonization

  • Manages program interdependencies, sequencing, and delivery milestones across concurrent workstreams

  • Owns the operational rhythm: standups, status reviews, dependency syncs, and cross-workstream coordination

  • Surfaces risks early and proposes mitigations before executive escalation is required

  • Prepares executive level briefings and leadership updates on program progress

  • Serves as primary coordination point across enterprise IT integration teams

  • Builds cross-functional relationships across IDT&S product divisions (Information Technology & Operations (IT&O), Boeing Enterprise Security (BES), Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), Engineering, Manufacturing & Quality (M&Q), Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D)


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within business or Information Technology

  • Experience in managing relationships with business leaders and executives, leading complex portfolio of engagements, enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions. Ability to engage with senior leaders and align as well as challenge their thinking

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains: infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, or enterprise applications and systems.

  • Experience with IT integration, network consolidation, or application rationalization

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing IT environments

  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP (ECC/GRC/S4HANA), Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and WorkDay

  • Experience managing programs spanning multiple business units simultaneously

  • Experience coordinating with external consulting firms

  • Professional certification: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent
