Responsibilities

The IT Analyst is responsible for providing technical and functional support for clinical, operational, and business applications. This role works closely with hospital departments, end users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure systems and applications remain reliable, secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational and patient care objectives. The IT Analyst supports daily operations through troubleshooting application issues, analyzing workflows, configuring systems, coordinating upgrades and enhancements, and assisting with implementations, integrations, and go-live activities across multiple healthcare platforms. This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment where system performance and availability are critical to patient care and hospital operations. Additional responsibilities include incident management, system testing, documentation, user support and training, compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience supporting applications in a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes and ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, security, and compliance standards.
  • Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
  • Open to travelling up to 50% of the time. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of clinical, operational, or business systems within healthcare organizations is a plus.
  • Understanding of interfaces, databases, and integrations
