Job Summary

Montgomery Whitewater is seeking an IT & Systems Administrator to oversee internal IT infrastructure, customer-facing technology systems, and operational software platforms across the organization. This role is critical to daily operations and is responsible for ensuring all systems — from Microsoft 365 and POS systems to booking engines, websites, payment systems, and event platforms — are functional, integrated, optimized, and aligned with both operational needs and guest experience standards.

This position requires a highly adaptable, solutions-oriented individual who can balance technical troubleshooting, operational support, systems administration, and strategic problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled, but also proactive, creative, and capable of identifying opportunities to improve workflows, systems, integrations, and organizational efficiency.

The IT & Systems Administrator will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Guest Services, Events, and executive leadership to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, maintain digital infrastructure, and evaluate new tools and technologies that support long-term organizational growth.

IT & Systems Management

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including Microsoft 365 administration, hardware/software support, network troubleshooting, user management, and device setup

• Provide internal IT support across departments, including troubleshooting technical issues for staff and operational systems

• Coordinate setup and support for meetings, conferences, presentations, livestreams, AV systems, and video conferencing technology

• Assist with operational technology support during public events, competitions, conferences, and large-scale programs

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting booking systems, POS systems, payment systems, reporting tools, websites, and operational software

• Assist Guest Services and operational staff during system outages, booking failures, payment issues, or technical disruptions affecting guest operations

• Maintain advanced working knowledge of POS systems, booking systems, CRM platforms, payment processors, sales management tools, ticketing systems, and guest-facing operational software

• Administer RocketRez systems, including:

• Administer Caterease systems, including:

o Events

• Coordinate system updates and operational changes across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Events, and Guest Services departments

• Maintain integrations between websites, POS systems, booking platforms, CRM tools, payment processors, and reporting systems

• Assist in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing technology systems and operational tools that improve workflow efficiency, communication, reporting, revenue generation, and guest experience

• Research and recommend new software, POS systems, operational tools, and technology solutions that may better support organizational goals and long-term operational needs

Website, Coding & Digital Infrastructure

• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting websites, integrations, forms, booking tools, and guest-facing digital platforms

• Maintain working knowledge of website coding, APIs, CMS platforms, integrations, front-end editing, and digital troubleshooting

• Coordinate with developers, vendors, and third-party software providers to maintain operational continuity and digital functionality

• Support digital infrastructure and integrations related to websites, sales platforms, booking engines, and operational systems

Problem Solving & Operational Support

• Identify inefficiencies in workflows, reporting, communication systems, or operational technology and proactively recommend practical, scalable improvements

• Serve as a creative and solutions-oriented resource for departments seeking operational efficiencies or technical support

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff and assist departments in understanding and utilizing systems effectively

• Assist leadership in evaluating technology needs, operational risks, and future system improvements

• Maintain awareness of evolving technology trends, operational software, integrations, and guest-facing platforms relevant to the tourism, hospitality, recreation, and events industries

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, systems administration, operational technology, or related field

• Strong Microsoft 365 administration knowledge

• Strong understanding of POS systems, booking systems, CRM platforms, payment systems, ticketing software, and operational technology infrastructure

• Experience troubleshooting operational technology issues in fast-paced guest-facing environments

• Working knowledge of website management, CMS platforms, integrations, APIs, coding, front-end editing, and digital troubleshooting

• Ability to assist with conference technology, AV systems, live streaming, presentations, and video conferencing platforms

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Highly solutions-oriented with the ability to think creatively, adapt quickly, and develop practical operational improvements

• Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

• Ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and operational issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
